Back on the high-speed bus!

We finally have high speed internet again, so there is no excuse for not updating our blog. This post will have to brief, as Dirty and I are about to go check out Butler play Wright State at historic Hinkle Fieldhouse and check out Brad Brownell, the potential next coach of IU basketball. But before I do, I thought I'd post the first of what I'm sure will be several posts about our new house.

It's time for the first and final installment of basement graffiti trivia. Here it goes!

Trivia Answer:
ah, the city of my childhood, Terre Haute.

how odd that you have random trivia in your basement..we had some goofy stuff written in chalk in our B-ripple basement as well. must be a neighborhood thing.

Growing up where the local TV markets overlap, we always chose to watch the Terre Haute news stations, yet hardly ever went to T.H. It was too far to drive, at nearly two hours in the car, and far too smelly and ghetto. The south side of the city has a paper mill and a creosote plant, or something equally nasty. However, the news from there was far more entertaining (even kinda scarier) than the Evansville, Louisville, or Indy stations.
Although, if you ever find yourself there, make sure to stop at The Saratoga Restaurant (one of the only things open downtown). Its one of the coolest small town family-run diners you'll encounter.
